Daily Packing List

The “DPL” is a laminated, magnetized sheet listing the typical items a student should pack before leaving for school each day.  The “HPC” is a laminated magnetized sheet listing the most typical steps a student should follow in order to finish homework completely.

The Organized Student

This book describes many techniques used for organizing students’ school papers, notebooks, backpacks, lockers, homework/study areas to name just a few.  It also includes descriptions for using planners and managing time.   Written by the most well known NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers) expert on the topic and frequent guest on the national morning television shows.  Ms. Goldberg endorses Student Organizers of Atlanta.

Every Child has an A

This book describes the four thinking styles children possess based on brain function research conducted by Dr. Arlene Taylor.   Each style’s description includes implications and actions needed to accommodate your child’s thinking style in order to enable peak performance.  Nakone cleverly uses animals to label the four styles.  Interactions between people with different thinking styles are also covered and are useful for “menagerie” families.  This book includes a small sampling of questions to help determine an individual’s thinking style.
